    How To Make DIY Body Butter Using CBD Oil

    If you’re looking for other ways to use CBD Oils, here’s a handy recipe for how to make homemade body butter using your favorite CBD oil. 

    Ingredients

    • 50 g (or 3 tbs) shea butter
    • 25 g (or 1.5 tbs)  cocoa butter
    • 25 g (or 1.5 tbs)  cbd oil
    • 5 drops vitamin E oil

     

    Directions

    1. Warm a she butter over medium heat. Melt until completely liquefied.

    2. Add your favorite CBD oil. 
    3. Place in refrigerator to cool and solidify.  

    4. Use an electric hand mixer and whip for about 5-10 minutes.

    5. Transfer to a sealable container and store at room temperature. 

    6. Enjoy!

     

    CBD DIY Body Scrub

    CBD DIY Body Scrub

    A sugar scrub is so easy to make and you can sub in or swap out different things to suit your person taste!

    Ingredients

    • 2 droppers of your choice of Tincture of your choice.
    • 1 cup Sugar *You can use normal sugar or purchase the Raw sugar with larger grains for more exfoliation.*`
    • 1/3 cup Coconut Oil
    • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
    • 10 drops of the essential oil of your choice (I used lavender)

    Instruction

    Start by melting the coconut oil in your microwave. Stop and mix it every 15-20 seconds until it’s fully melted.

    Add in the olive oil next and stir.

    Mix in the sugar .

    Once the sugar is fully mixed in add your CBD tincture and 10 drops of essential oil and mix.

    *I store mine in a mason jar in my shower. If it starts dry out at all just add some more coconut or olive oil and mix well.*

    Here are three easy to make at home recipes for face masks that that are created for a variety of skin types. By infusing Active CBD Oil you can also take advantage of anti-inflammatory properties that can boost collagen while reducing redness.

    Soothing Honey Oatmeal Mask:

    Instructions:

    1. Grind the oats in a coffee grinder or food processor
    2. Whisk together honey and CBD oil
    3. Mash banana and add to the honey mixture
    4. Stir in oats and place in refrigerator for 10 minutes
    5. Apply to face with fingers or brush
    6. Allow to sit on skin for 10-15 before rinsing

    This mask is good for all skin types. The ground oats are what acts as an exfoliant, and the banana provides Vitamin C as well as acting as a bonding agent for the CBD.

    Lemon Sugar Scrub Exfoliating Mask:

    Instructions:

    1. Whisk together lemon juice, olive oil, honey and CBD
    2. Gradually add brown sugar until the mixture develops a thick consistency
    3. Apply to face for 5 minutes before rinsing

    This mask works best for those who are struggling with breakouts, redness, blackheads, or other issues. The lemon and brown sugar combination work to clear pores which allows the other ingredients to absorb more fully into the skin. Lemons have Vitamin C, citric acid, and are naturally anti-bacterial.

    Avocado Moisture Mask:

    Instructions:

    1. Mash avocado and stir in yogurt
    2. In a separate bowl whisk together honey and CBD
    3. Add honey mixture to the avocado mixture and set in refrigerator for 10 minutes
    4. Stir before applying to face
    5. Leave on for 10-15 minutes before rinsing

    If you need extra moisture in the dry winter months this mask is the perfect fit. The avocado brings essential fatty acids that moisturize and promote healing for our skin that is easily absorbed.
